I am beginning work on my thesis for Canon Law at KU Leuven, and I plan to write about the process of transferring from one religious community to another (Canons 684-685). I plan to treat the subject in four sections: Historical, Sociological/Personal, Theological/Spiritual and Juridical (civil and canon law).
I would particularly be interested in your help in the matter of the Sociological/Personal and the Theological/Spiritual perspectives. I am hoping to get responses to a survey in two parts. One is for transfer-members, a second for the communities from which or to which members transfer.
